Follow these exact steps when trying to install the software...
- Extract the zip to an empty folder on your desktop and run the jar from there. Don’t attempt to run the jar from within the zip folder, and don’t move files around. All the contents of the zip should be in a separate folder of their own in order to minimize potential bugs.
- Make sure you have Java installed & JavaFX too, you can pick up the latest Java from here: https://java.com/en/download/index.jsp and Java FX here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html
Note: Others have found it helpful to uninstall the previous versions of Java in their system to be sure the latest will be the one running.
